thought this might be a good place to start a thread for others that need help and info on there autoboss v30 ie setup , using adaption codes , if and when new updates are available , cars its not working on and so on ,

this isnt a place to talk about fakes and clones , even tho there made in china and sold here by agents

and if your a tight git and you have the printer attached,till rolls will work,use about 10 feet and wrap around the printers roller,note the text is small to read,strong glasses maybe needed.

does anyone know if u still need to input the adaption codes in the newer Audi,s for the service resets or has the new updates added basic settings

Remove/add limiter on 08-on , transit 2,4 is the v30 capable of doing this and anyone tried ? or does the pcm need updating on the later years.? cheers

well mine came today .,. works great and 2 years free updates so thats ok . glad l didint get the printer .. its alot better printing from the pc on a4 paper ..

cant say lm happy there isnt a battery back up in unit ? started an astra to see live data and the unit restarted ?

but the scan all areas is good as the print out shows everything in one go ie: scans body abs engine the lot at once .. well on opel ayway

maybe thats why jumper cables supplied,i had it on a vw passat trying to find a miss in engine it went through all the ecu ,but strange it found 2 engine faults,think i missed the getting the info out lol.

think lm used to the snap on unit havnt a battery ,, just undated it and updated to new dash aswell but havnt tried yet , will test monday

Ya that happened to my Beetle. I would just use the cigarette lighter adapter with a jumper pack or just leave the ac adapter plugged in. I was able to reset my throttle body and get the beetle running but it was difficult to navigate the factory settings without knowing what is what.

Yes I think some people under estimate the Autoboss---mine works great

used on a 2009 transit today and set speed to 68mph .. worked great

let me down today on a td5 discovery , didnt have suspension hight calibration , had to dust off my snap-on scanner to do it

I ended up running out of space and now use a 4 big card in my unit , had it nearly 2 years , was gonna get rid and get a snap on but reading through might keep it , has don't a lot asked for even takes engine light of new w212 mercs wher the snap on only takes of temporilary , even Porsche etc has a good coverage where snap on doesn't cover , adding the channels for adaptation on vag is frustrating though

Daewoo is not working for me. I have contacted Autoboss about it and look forward to working with them to get it fixed. I have a pair of Daewoos I can test it on. It would be nice to get Keyless entry programming for these cars.

i went to download my first subscription today onto my 2 gb card,cannot write to it or damaged lol,is it just a matter of upgrading card to a larger one and download all data to it,typical when i want it tomorrow.

doing it in a dark has its issues,only found out that the sd flash drive has a slider to lock or open it,might be useful info .

I got updates for 1 year after purchase. I am still waiting on Daewoo coverage. SPX got bought out by Bosch so hopefully they continue to develop this scanner.

Install the latest update client. Try to download 3 to 5 downloads at time.

The $100 updates work on some machines but not all. You normally give your serial numb and they will tell you if the update can be done before u pay.

As as for full sd cards. You need to go into settings on your update client and delete previous update versions of each car brand. As the update client do not do this automatically so you could have 10 previous versions of updates for audi Toyota and so on.these use up all the space on the card.

On their website/sale sheet it claims that it will to ECU Programming (e.g. Vin Number in modules) Can anyone confirm that Autoboss is capable of this?

I've had my Autoboss for 3/4 years and I've never seen the option ! You can program some injectors and keys.If you have the latest update I see you can program bsi units for Peugeots I haven't actually done so but it prob works if you have the pin codes for the Peugeots.
autoboss is really a diagnostic tool not a programmer I've see the abrites tool now that's a serious kit in the correct hands but is very expensive

l just paid ?122 for 12 months , they can send card or just email the number or even update it there end , wanted a number from a card just in case unit got banned , they seem to all cards as well as PC-Max scanner or V30 Elite, if anyone wants there email let me know

Maybe anyone has autoboss v-30 schematics? I have burned device and there is very suspicious SOT-363 marking code: 24V , but I can not find datasheet:(

I've never had any problem with mine,once I get logged onto my network,usually in seconds.I never use the sd card in the usb drive anymore.

Meant to say mine is v30 Elite.

sad news went to use my autoboss and dead as a dodo:mad-new:not got a chance to check further i what the issue was as i plugged it into a punto and no power up,brain bee powered up.have people had issues with connectors lead or machine? cheers

where to buy the upgrade card,I see prices online from 135 - to 270 usd,why this big difference?

Anybody want genuine printer + leather case for Autoboss V30? I have sold diagnostic tool long time ago, and this items left me here... never used, only tested. Price we can deal for sure, give me some offer... I dont want let it stay on stock next years, if can help to someone. No problem send in EU.
