Hi I'am trying to tune my car, I have all the maps ready to go, but wen I flash the eprom the car won't start. My ecu is 0281001711 658,659 chips. the problem is correcting checksum because winols recognize ols270 but won't work in the car. Injection ligth is on all time. Some one can help me? Is possible to do it manualy? Please some one can help to figure out what is the problem?

Have you checked the eprom type?
Sometimes you will see 87c257 inside, not 27c256.

Car starts shortly and then stalls? -> Immo not realigned. Go and get an old Modic.
Car does not start at all? -> bad tuning, bad chips or whatever.

Even with a bad chip, the engine will usually start and idle at 2000rpm, no rpm counter, and injection light.

Does everything work OK with the original chips?

Don't program the chips with dumps with other software number, because u make the ECU unusable for EVER!
