Hi bros ,

I need some help on my media player and hope some people here could help me out. I had a problem connecting a media player which has no brand which only had words like 1080P FULL HD MEDIA PLAYER V1.0-S-7-8-10 to my Samsung TV.

I try to connect this media player to my samsung tv using HDMI cable and my tv screen says check signal cable. I try to plug in and out and try on 2 new HDMI cable and it just did not work. I try pressing on source on my remote controller and still does not work. so i decided not to go for HD .

I try to use the 3 cable, yellow, white and red and connect to my TV again from my media player and it still does not display anything. And finally i use Y/BP//PR cable which is the green, blue red and it still display check signal cable on my tv screen.

i rack my brains and could not figure out what is wrong. it can't be that all the connections to my tv is faulty. my friend could use this media player on his tv but mine just couldnt work. Anyone can help me please because i just bought it for $155 .i am also not a IT savvy person.

Have you tried the box on different TV, sounds like faulty unit to me

Plug it into TV with HDMI cable, switch TV and Media player on, select the right input source on your TV, then press "TV System" button on your Media Players remote control, wait a few seconds, if no display on TV press the "TV System" button again, repeat process until you see a display... See if that helps...

If no luck, it may be your TV doesnt accept the Media Players output signal. Im only guessing but maybe your cheapo chinese media player has a default signal output of 60hz and cant be set to output 50hz. Not all TV's in Europe can accept a 60hz signal... Maybe your TV is one of them... Or maybe its just a faulty media player...
