Using Galletto

Hi guys, just got myself a Galletto cable.
Is there any risk involved in just reading an ECU dump ?
Im looking to try it out later on but im worried about damaging the ECU. My first try will be on a Citroen C5 2.0 HDi with Bosch EDC15, Will hopefully be looking for someone on here to modify the file for better BHP & economy.

You can read without problem.
Galletto also writes well this ecu

I never tried it yet as i was waiting on a reply here first, wont be trying it now for another 2 weeks as im away on holiday tonight.
I'll update this when i do though.
