Hi. Hopefully someone can help me out. After upgrading the channel list on my new F3 box, I rebooted. Now it won't load up at all and all I get is a message LoAd. Any ideas please?

I think I tried to upgrade with a channel list for an Openbox S11. Yes I know......

Channel list is the same for S11 as for the F3 so, was it really just a channel list you sent to your box? was the file you used called TP_PROG.dbs ?? or something else?

Try unplugging your dish feed then starting the box up.. If its still the same then you're going to need to flash your box with firmware via the RS232 port with null modem cable.. Hopefully you did a system dump backup before messing with loading software to your box because that would be the best thing to reflash your box with..

Hi nibblitz. Yes I think the channel list was as you suggested a .dbs file.
No, I didnt back anything up beforehand. I think I may have to go the null modem route.
Can you possibly advise me as the steps I would need to take after I follow the EromUpgrade.exe route?

How do you only "think" you tried to upgrade it, and how can you only "think" what the channel list file name was? Dont you have the file anymore? lol ;-)

You'll probably be able to "think" fix it with this guide ;-)

Hope you get it sorted...

Nibblitz. Sorry for offending you. I feel like I am the punchline of an in joke now. I was trying to upgrade the channel list to aj's list of July.

I will have to go down the route you have kindly suggested.

However, after I follow the null modem route, I just wanted advice on what to do next.

Hey, you didnt offend, I just found the way you worded your posts quite funny, and had a little giggle, no harm...

I dont understand what you mean with "what to do next" ? If you get it working again then thats it really... If when flashing it you would rather have it with sorted channels all in one hit, then I'd suggest you might like to use something called "scooby snax update" (or something like that) Its on these forums somewhere..
