best tools and tips for E60

Hi Everyone
I will get soon e60 2008 for mileage. Im just wonder what is the best way to do this car.
I have red rosfar for CAS but what is the best tool for dash? 35080 has to be replaced or can be original modify? Upa or Xprog will do the job??

About the CAS is always better do 0km because some people set up for example 10k. Are you disconnect battery always before take out dash and CAS or not?

Needles and easy to take off? Any tips are more than welcome!

you can with r270, modifiar cas3 and no need to replace M35080 eprons

dont take out the battery,
only remove Key from ingnition,
take out the dash, remove needles, and Read, Save eeprom,
then Errased ,and write the new KM

CAS, can do on the table, but I dont know what tool you have for this

latter, first put back the CAS, then the Dash ,
Ingnition ON and errsed the errors

red clone shud be fine, u will need to replace eeprom, needles are easy to get off, twist n pull

no need disconnect battery

DP3 is good for this...

ps: For CAS use RED Rosfar clone. Very good tool!
I have DP3 and Enigma but for CAS I use Red Rosfdar clone.

One of you advise to replace the epprom , one to erase.
I know it would be more safety to keep original epprom but I dont have new one now.
I hope my red rosfar won't let me down :)

UPA or Xprog will do all job on 35080 with no problem?

About errors, you all mean to clear the car with some diagnostic tool (diagun) ?

yes clear errors using diag tool
and as for eeprom
if it is:
35080 3
35080 6
then it is erasable and upa shud be fine
if it is:
35080VP
35080V6
D80WQ
then no chance, replace eeprom

on that year i think u mite be out of luck
