Which Processor is Better for Gaming on Ati 6870 1gb??

i m confused in choosing Good processor for Gaming on Ati 6870 1gb...
i had sold my old pc@Rs.8k in indian rupees..
my budget is Rs.14k..
I don't want to upgrade Gpu, i m satisfywith gpu...
i want procsser for which suit ati 6870 and good for gaming...

Depend on what motherboard your getting, If intel -

If budget,

Intel Dual-Core 2.0Ghz+ should be ok

Intel Core 2 duo 2.4GHz+ should do the job

Any i3/i5/i7's are the best bang for the buck.
