This is a EDC15C2-10.1 so I think you must have another fault with car or ecu..

Second efford . Connect a tester to see if the ecu is unlock or lock .Pass is the same .

Then why not diagnose properly, first to check. With tester if ecu is locked if not then its useless to remove immo.

But check if cam/crankshaft are synchronized at startup with tester if not then other sensor is faulty.

Then check that rail pressure is over 120bar if not its propably pressure requlator failure / dirty diesel filter. But can also be leaky injector/pump

Yes check ecu state in diag if locked then need flash but 3 conectors need flash never mind it is edc15c2
