New pricing for Virgin Broadband

Virgin Media has made some adjustments to the pricing of its broadband service.

The new prices, which went into effect on February 2, have resulted in the amount it charges for its L and XL tiers of broadband when taken as a standalone service drop by ?4 to ?20 and ?1 to ?35 respectively. The M and XXL tiers are unaffected, and the prices are available to both new and existing customers.

Bundle prices have also changed, with the amount charged for M tier increasing by ?1 but the monthly subscription for L dropping by ?2. XL and XXL tiers are both unaffected, and the new prices are available to new customers and those existing customers who upgrade or add a service.

Standalone Broadband:

BB M ?17 (No change but will no longer be discounted to a lower price and basically withdrawn from new sale)
BB L ?20

Phone & Broadband (all also available with TV M):

BB L and Phone M - ?25
BB XL and Phone M - ?31 (Remains the same)
BB XXL and Phone M - ?46 (Remains the same)

Broadband and TV:

BB L and TV L - ?30 (?40.50 with TV XL)
BB XL and TV L - ?44 (?54.50 with TV XL) (Remains the same)
BB XXL and TV L - ?59 (?69.50 with TV XL) (Remains the same)

Phone, Broadband and TV:

BB L, Phone M and TV L - ?35 (?45.50 with TV XL)
BB XL, Phone M and TV L - ?41 (?51.50 with TV XL) (Remains the same)
BB XXL, Phone M and TV L - ?56 (?66.50 with TV XL) (Remains the same)

However better value bundles are available (especially when adding TV XL):

Also all remaining the same are:

The ONLY changes are:

BB L standalone goes down by ?4 a month
BB L in some bundles goes down by ?2 a month
BB XL/XXL standalone go down by ?1 a month
BB M basically withdrawn as a new customer product
