Satellite Cards Under Linux

Hi , I currently run windows 7 x64 with DVB Dream and newcamd. I would very much like to say good bye to Mr gates for good and make the switch to Linux. Is there any comparable programs that will run under Linux without any great loss of functions. If anyone has got a good Linux system up and running I would like to hear from them with some ideas to help me out
