hello all,

need guidance here.
attached is an image of Denso injector for D4D hilux crdi.
how do we read the code?
do we read it in line from left to right? or from top to bottom?

i have tried to code it into the ECU in this manner:
18FC1CF6FC0COBFF13091708080004
and
18FCFC0C1CF6OBFF13090800170B04

but ECU will not register it.

i'm using launch X431 and Maxidas 708

hoping for some help.

thanks!!!

Hi liteace,

Sorry, "8" was a typo, its "B".

I meant, all the 4 injectors with different codes can't be coded to the ecu. I believed, it is a tools issue.

i followed the manual in detail on coding procedures, but no success.
While inputting the codes, tools reports ok, but when read again, the old codes is still reported and engine problem still exist.
Btw, engine problem is, after revving up and before rpm reaches back to idle speed, it produces a loud metallic sound, same as fuel knock.

Thanks for your input,

dear mate, check this file for procedure with launch x431
hope it can help
in manners you have to put injector code like injec.1 iject2 injecotr3. injector4.
i think your 18FC1CF6FC0COBFF13091708080004 code [1st one ] you wrote is correct but not putting in correct manners count injector 1 2 3 4 in manners then put correct code
i think you are making mistake you are writing code 1st in fourth injectors
hope this will help you

mate, you have to check ecu & injector driver
most probably injector driver is with prob
try with new or used injector driver for check then again put injector code & check

Yes, I think I have the correct injectors.
The injectors came from another exactly the same salvaged car.

Will try to look for another ecu and try.
I'll get back with the result.

Thanks to all,

the only time I've seen injector codes refused is:
1) typo error
2) wrong injector (even if they look identical)
I think there must be a checksum for the correct injector.

to prove the procedure is not faulty recode the original codes in a different order. If they are accepted, the tool's procedure works.

** don't they just use 16 digits? **

Are they not suppose to be 32 digits..............?

I can see yours have only 30 digits it could be this is your problem.........

Can you check on all other injectors how many digits are they..............

If car have any throuble code programming inyectors codes are not ?possible, first clear all codes and recheck then try to rewrite new inyector codes, reset by disconnect battery too. <report.

Yes, I agree with you guys.
I think it's a car problem issue, because I have tried to write the injector code from #1 injector into #4, and still it did not accept it.
Tool I think is ok, because I just coded today a Delphi injector for Kia J3 and it succeeded.

I will dig deeper today, will check first the L-line from DLC.

Will let you know guys, and thank you very much!
