hello,

I have a question about the MPPS.
Yesterday I was trying to read a Bora / Jetta 1.8T with ME7 and the resulting file is 308 Kb, when I read my Golf GTI 1.8T ME7 file is 1024.:shot:

Someone can tell me because that difference:questionmark: I can use it in WinOLS:questionmark:

Thank you very much!

Car has read protection and noread tag on ECU inside.

Hello quattrotr,

Thanks for helping! What do you mean by that? is some kind of soft lock for reading? or is a physical blockage? is like an encrypted?

It is possible to remove it?

must read in bootmode.

sorry for my ignorance ... but the blockade was reading the file or the file?
I ask this because bootmode to read it, if the file is locked I'll be in the same situation. or not?

many tnks 4 heellp!!

It might be a encryption board inside that the tuner put in, then boot mode will not work too, or it might be a simple non-read protection (software) than you will be able to read ecu in boot mode.. Eighter way, the ECU was tuned before by someone...

Yeah, that was suspected ... This ECU is modified :S

Ok, thank you very much for your help, I'll see if I try the bootmode. -

I keep them informed!

I posted days ago a MPPS version of the sotware that skips noread protection, it's for MPPS V12. Check my posts.

That is ok unless it has an encryption board.

Yes, even with encrypt board galletto 1260 will read it normally as it read as the processor read the adresses... but obviously you can?t write
