Hello friends,

this wednesday i did experiment with three scenic 2 cars with original radio.
First of them is fully working - display working, radio display working (dash1, radio1)

Second - main display working, radio display not working only temperature and time (dash2, radio2)

Third - Main display working, radio display not working, only shows temperature and time(dash3, radio3)

when is dash1 connected to scenic2 , radio display dont work, when is connected dash1 and radio1 to scenic2 radio still not work.
when dash2 or radio2 or both connected in scenic1, all works fine. wires from radio to red connector were measured and no poroblem found

dash1 and radio1 connected in scenic3- radio display not working again
dash3 in scenic1 working well radio display with radio1 working. Radio 3 in scenic1 not working.

all tests were repeated

so........the result is - death radio3 ......and what next?????
i have absolutely any idea. can someone help please

can bus fault, diagnose all modules in car and see what error codes are repeated

No. Eeprom contents problem.
May solve with dump correction :)

so............ very simple

there are two types of display. at the first look any differences.
at the second look is small difference in connection of display communication wires
first is direct connection from radio to display
second is connection from radio to UCH there is pure display signal convereted to Multimedia can network and the to display
inside the dashes are components either for can connection or for direct connection to radio

in the second and third renault's from my story were not original displays yet

These two types of dash are not 100% compatible!
