Right Guys here?s my dilemma.
I work away from home a lot; when I came home I discovered I?d left my charger at work. Knowing I?d not get my charger for at least 2 weeks I bought a charger supposedly suitable for the DS lite, plugged it in and left it charging I thought.
Next day my new R4 card arrive from Memory Bits. Anyway, downloaded firmware onto SD card inserted SD card into R4 card and then into DS Lite switched on and nothing my DS doesn?t work at all now.
I?m back at work and tried the proper charger still nothing.

My dilemma is, has the cheap charger knackered the DS or has the is it the R4 card.

Thoughts anybody.

The cheap charger may have blown a fuse. I am not saying it has done that just that it is possible. There is a guide in link below which shows you how to get to the fuses and either replace them or bridge it so it doesnt need a fuse.
