I'm trying to read the 93c46 in the yellow code1 immobox (60622718) without unsoldering it, but I only get rubbish.
Is it possible to read it in circuit, or do I have to unsolder it?

If I lift the Vcc pin, will that be enough?

Hi,

read and write in circuit, hot playing !
That?s the best way and works perfectly, so you don?t get trash !

Pinout for connector A ( 8pins)

3--------2--1
8--7--6--5--4

pin1 N.C.
pin2 Codelamp
pin3 +12Volt
pin4 Ground
pin5 Diagnostic K-Line ( Diesel )
Pin6 serial line to ecu ( Immo-request )
Pin7 external relais
Pin8 ignition +12Volt

You need pin3 pin4 and pin8 to connect on bench.

hi been trying to sort my code and red key for a few months. looking at a lot of post.

I am new to this ... but getting addicted to Fiat coupe and want it 100% right.

research tells me that i have to un solder the eprom then use a eprom programmer to dump the file untill i came across this topic that says it can be read in situ.

can you explain "connect to bench" with regard the the pins 60622718 what is the bench ?

regards
