I have a problem on my passat 2l tdi 2007
I introduce the key,the indicator of the direction flashed the message display ODB "steering wheel lock-workshop". I tried to remove it and restart and the message disappeared. The problem was reproduced several time.the result that appears on the diag is: steering and comfort module.
i bneed you idea for repair this problem

thanks dear Diagnosticated (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/241943-diagnosticated/) we have changed the electronic steering column and keyless then the engine started so thanks for your help
