Anyone got a good dump just incase (2004 end, diesel, manual)? I doubt these have got immo or anything in them?

Mate, damn you have plenty of problems don't ya? for someone using an Enigma. As mentioned above do the mileage again all will be well.
enigmauk
5th October, 2012, 09:41 PM
Problems? Or Questions?
I suppose my customers have problems and then I post here for advice... so yeah.
Oh and yes I got Enigma but the problems aren't with Enigma... they were obviously caused by something else as its the first visit by this customer.

Mileage wont go by OBD with TU when its showing 999999. Just reprogram mileage directly on the chip and it will be ok. Ive done this many times.
diagtech
5th October, 2012, 09:48 PM
chip is 93s56 make sure you program as an s chip not a c chip

I will solder points to board, but I got a good feeling this will be a bad dump because it is showing 999999km and editing a bad dump may not work?
smokey08
5th October, 2012, 10:01 PM
It is only a checksum problem caused by an electrical spike. eeprom contents will be ok.
enigmauk
5th October, 2012, 10:05 PM
Ah ok I'll give it a try tomorrow hopefully
diagtech
5th October, 2012, 10:06 PM
Will be hard work to put another dump in as there are a lot of different sw versions on these and they are not interchangeable make sure you save original first

does anyone know why this guy as 999999 on his dash lol
enigmauk
6th October, 2012, 02:33 PM
My enigma is newer than yours... don't get why it matters
z786
6th October, 2012, 03:01 PM
it matters because you are tryin to fool the forum in being in the game along time in order to recieve help
you have only been doing this a few days judging by your posts so i assume you are charging peanuts, tell me im wrong?
enigmauk
6th October, 2012, 03:39 PM
That is not the case at all. Why is this such a issue to you then. It sounds as though my prices may be affecting you or something. I charge reasonable prices. End of.
z786
6th October, 2012, 03:54 PM
lol it doesnt affect me, my prices stay the same my cutomers are loyal, very rarely do i ask for help n if i do its from friends in the trade, when i get a call for a job, i'l only ever ask to call them back to check my diary to see if i can fit them in, not ask on DK then get back, but there might be some1 in ur area that u might be affecting, they have to feed themselves, maybe they hav a mortgage, why affect their bread and butter?
enigmauk
6th October, 2012, 05:32 PM
Lol so by me providing mileage correction I'm affecting someone's mortgage oh grow up will you. Competition will come and go get over it. And looking at your history back in 2010 2011 you were posting for plenty of help and support from fellow members. This is a forum where people will discuss topics and maybe help each other at the same time... my posts will probably even help someone else in the future too.
z786
6th October, 2012, 06:05 PM
not by you providing mileage correction, by you charging pennies, driving prices down.
and if you went thru the hassle of checking my history it is help regarding "diagnostics" which i used to do to help the local garages and now refuse to do so
enigmauk
6th October, 2012, 06:06 PM
What makes you think I'm charging peanuts then?
z786
6th October, 2012, 06:12 PM

8th October, 2012, 11:12 AM
Well its a small old world when you think about if a new guy gets an enigma, gets happy has a big bill to pay charges peanuts,
Easy to spot due to their advertisements which will say stuff like, ''USING LATEST ENIGMATOOL 2012...ONE OF THE BEST TOOLS ON THE MARKET FOR CALIBRATIONS / CORRECTIONS.. '' prices starting from ?30.
I don't normally get involved in these type of posts, but just to show from your nickname & your advertisements & the posts of these forums, its easy to put 2 and 2 together,
Also if you want help change the tone,
smartymarti

I have re-programmed the mileage on this using enigma... it wouldnt read the old mileage but according to the enigma pdf's it sometimes wont read the old value... even the dumps i tried off this forum didnt read correctly in licznik... so seems to be a common thing with this particular car.
will let you know how i get on tomorrow when i try it in the car. thanks for help guys

No mate the car came with 999999miles on the dash probably caused by a jump start. I changed the mileage with enigma and now it's all working g great... no need to replace eeprom

Are you taking calls for jobs then posting it up on here before going out to the job? If so its a bit of a waste of time, 4 pages later when you could of just gone out to the job and tried first, then if you get stuck or can't work it out post it on the forum.

no the guy didnt want me to come down till morning... i would have tried with my enigma right away but i thought id see what others have experienced on here.
