WinOLS 1721 is good,

but the problem is that you must use with the virtual machine,
I have Vista OS and every time I open the virtual machine, but if I have 2.24 would be much more comfortable.

working 100 % on win xp professional service pack 3 (this is the windows that I have on my mini compaq )

you have to set a rule in your antivirus software not to scan it coz what happens , the antivirus prog will block the loader ..

basically the install is a lot easier than winols 1.5 or 1.7 ..
disable antivirus protection ..
download software
unpack in c:\program files\evc\
set rule in your antivirus not to scan the above path
execute loader
and there you are ...

if you had the 1.7 installed before or 1.5 when the 2,24 will first start will take all the projects from the previous installed version ..
you may find that after it loads all the projects there will be no checksum dll loaded .. but you can update the checksum database with the imported projects ..

the only problem that I had was with siemens ppd .. I had siemens ppd project in my 1.7 and the 2.24 doesn`t have the siemens ppd dll for some reason .. all the rest is there. .

contacted the guy .. the guy said he doesn`t know what the problem is he connected with team viewer in my pc but still useless .. coz the sw would give the same error no matter what .

now in the end ... the program doesn`t work ! and he never offered me a refund !

so my advice is keep away from ppl selling this sh*t !

I`ll get my money back I`ll just open a case with paypal .

coolis, the people that have sent me my 2 versions also said that they should work on win 7 x64, but I'm having no luck at all. I'm used to using cracked software, but i'm getting memory exception errors on 2nd run of the loader app saying that the application couldn't unpack. On 1st run (after deleting registry keys) the loader says the licence is installed, but the loader is unable to load winols. Whether in program files, or program files (x86).

Thats what i've been using, I thought it would do the job, and it lets licence be wrote again... but the launcher is still unable to launch ols on win 7 pro x64 for me :(.

to winols archive that I`ve been sold is called evc.rar and not ols.zip as the one you have ..

my one as well is not bad I`ve managed to make it work once on xp but I deleted it after I`ve seen it hasn`t got the siemens ppd checksum ..

then when i`ve tried to install back the 1.7 because when I did the 2.24 i`ve updated all the projects in the 2.24 .. when tried to reinstall the 1.7 one , i`ve lost all the projects :(( coz the 1.7 wouldn`t open anymore the altered projects from 2.24 ..

so be aware .. you might loose all your work !!

but i`d be happy to install the 2.24 on another laptop which i have with windows 7 ..

right now i`m working on the third laptop which i`m installing the xp as we speak to see if i can put it there the 2.24 ..

if when you double click the loader and the first icon with the 5 series bmw shows up if on the bottom says registered to car-link then it`s good ..

now to activate the checksums for the projects u have taken already from the previous winols u had installed you have to go in file .. and update projects and all your checksums will become active

Yeah i'm still getting my issue to, :(. What prerequisites does WinOLS 2.24 require that our systems are not up to running it and causing these issues. I have a 120gb vertex 3 ssd, 500mb ram drive running firefox, 16gb ddr3 ram, i7-2600k processor... no antivirus running, or firewall... but still I get the same problem pop up. I only installed windows fresh the other day so its not my OS install.

The loader must be at "C:\Program Files\EVC" and the software at "C:\Program Files\EVC\WinOls".
So the version i share p14 is working fine on W7 X64 !
