BMW e65 facelit odometer correcting

I've done odometer correting in 730i facelift with DME Siemens MSV70. Everything is ok but in DME I have an error code: outside temperature sensor with the old km. If i delete, it will come back but not with the corrected km.

i think u need to drive the car for a while

I tried but only about 5 km. And every other remaming DTC's in other moduls get up the new value. Only the DME cause headache for me......

drive the car more than 50km then erase all errors.

I would try unplugging the outside temp sensor and poking a 1k or 2k resistor across the plug then try clearing the codes. Then plug temp sensor back in and see if it shows the corrected km on the fault code.

Now car went out from garage and will come back to testing..

After about 40km "testdriving" km on dtc is changed.
