Hi there. Does any member or members know if it's possible to use iPad with VCDS or similar diagnostic cables. Using a USB adapter. I've read on the net it's possible to load windows 7 on IPad. Many thanks. Keep well.

Looks like buying a apple iPad wasn't such a good idea after all. Main intention was to do diagnostics from it by just plugging a USB adapter and interface. Keep well.

Gone threw a few older threads regarding iPad. Can't seem to find any relating to diagnostic on motor vehicles. Damm. The magic of using iPad for scanning cars out the window. Keep well.

Just a update on this one. Have spoken to the Ross tech team. Their currently hard at work testing a new wireless VCDS device that will be compatible with most wireless devices that also have a web browser. The goal is to try by all means and finish the device in the first quater of 2013 if all goes well. Gladly for me my apple iPad also falls under the category.
