View Full Version : Ford focus 2002 problem with programing SBB

Hi.
My friend lose last key for her car ford focus. I bought 4d transponder but SBB countdown 800sec and shows error! I do different focus car in the past and SBB works, so please help guys.

should be id60 glass 4d , is it a faulty chip ? wouldnt be first

If it was a US version, I would say that it needed a 10 minute parameter reset before programming key with another 10 minute countdown. Learning about that has cured a couple failures for me in recent past. Don't know if Euro is the same as US. Others from Euro can probably help more than I.

did you switch ignition on first then connect your sbb and then clear faults then select the correct immobiliser system on job done ford pats 3 if the car communicates it will clear down it is obviously something that your doing wrong if it is timed access the obd socker is in the middle of the tray below the steering wheel if coded acces it is on the underside on a little hinge that pulls down

ive tried my sbb on a 2003 ford focus 5 times
counts to 800 then says cant find ecu

not sure if its the way i turn it on or somehting but
i recon sbb does not work on this focus
try t300 perfect all the time
ive reprogrammed this car many times practicing etc etc
u need to erase keys and thats all
then u put 1st key in and turn to on then off

put in next key then on then off again

let it sit for 10 seconds
then yr all done
u need 2 keys

Chinese T300 worked on this? I have many problems wth T-300 on US Ford. Anyone else? Last failure was on a 2001 Mystique.

No perameter reset on PCM it gets done the same time as programing. The easy way to check if car need perameter reset is by trying to start the car. If the car cranks but does not start (perameter) reset needed. If the car does not crank newer system perameter reset is built into the key programming system. Hope it helps you guys out there. No crank key will be 599114 or newer if it cranks 72pt or older .

No crank. I put 4d transponder. So I have to do?

with ford focus i always use t300
just erase all keys u will need in out code
u can use ford in out code 4 digit
or t300 12 digit which i dont know where to find

then u need 2 keys
just put first key and turn ign on

turn ign off then fit 2nd key then turn ign on

turn off
then your done

Some need pin 4 and 10 jumped on older fords depending on protocall, never had the problem with tko it was only on for hec and some others.

use T300 it will work , you go to ford/ PCM / it will say pat3 or pats pcm. add key if you have one chip or erase pats if you have 2 chips. i recommend to erase pats if possiblel. if it needs out code choose dealer code and you can text me the out code i will give you reply +447723021515 or email me info@a1carkey.co.uk

yep mvp for me on these 1st time every time
