my Eurovox has been playing up the past few weeks
details of fault below

LCD screen not displaying correctly on some channels
all 3 lights on the box light up at the same time

(despite the LCD and the lights the box's worked ok )

problems starting to box again if switched off by the wall

today i have been watching tv and the sound went off
so i put the box in standby and and tried to switch back on
but the box wont switch on at all now

just displaying 2 little green dots on the LCD

do you think its a bin job

you probibly have a swollen cap on psu if that is not the case then jtag your box not ready for bin yet

As said its a capacitor fault. You need to replace it with a 16V 1000uf cap, part No. VH50E at Maplins.
