Hi there, I have a query concerning the:

'Dreambox DM500C Cable Receiver'

In particular, I was wondering if it is equipped with a cable modem, and if so, is it possible to share the internet signal with a PC/ LAN by using the Ethernet socket?

The Dm500 does not have a cable modem just an ethernet port for connecting the dm500 to the network or internet.
