View Full Version : Ford mondeo 2.0 TDCi PCM exchange

Hi!
I need some advices about this ford (MY2002). Want to exchange the PCM. Swapped the flash memories and immo is still on and I didn't find any eeprom on the PCB. I have IDS but can't find any learning options.
I haven't got any experience with these fords........ :@

do you need dump or PCM label?

You can take a picture of the plate, also a photo of the sticker??? There are some of these that you can get the immo off!

15 min work =look for pats or pcm

ids + incode = immo sync

In PATS there are only key teach in and key erase

You can take a picture of the plate, also a photo of the sticker??? There are some of these that you can get the immo off!

I think the pats may be inside the ecu. Try the key teach in option.

I would try but must type incode... How this incode works, calculated from VIN? In AVDI there is spec function Incode calc but 600 eur :)

This is an online calculator.
I hope it's possible to teach in the old used keys.....

It will give it to you when you try to program keys, then it will ask for the incode. dont disconnect from car while you wait for incode to be generated.

Whats the number on the big chip in the picture. Looks like an ST. If it is then immo data is in there amongst a lot of other stuff (axel ratio) etc. etc. Easy enough to clone.

Can teach in old keys to the "new" PCM with VCM IDS

didnt think it was possible did you use original keys or one with doner ecu.

PATS (passive anti theft system "immo box") is in the PCM so just have to teach in the keys. I used original keys
