2006 pontiac solstice key programming light won t go off

i made a key for solsice 2006 b111pt circle plus
the security light car and padlock stay on won t go out
try 10 and 12 minute without light going out on dash
no good car not starting light stay on
i then try with sbb was able to log immo erase some of error
on error stay code bo31 can go out no info
i did the 720 seconds procedure at the end cycle the key on position 5 sec 5 sec off then suppose to be good
i programmed solstice before with sbb clone Can system with original ilco key
I think the car is in defense mode or something
what the procedure to get back to programming or somelse
i missing something here
i disconnect the battery overnite try in the AM fresh
Any help welcome just spend 3 hours there RRRR!!!!
but want this car running for customer is really nice

If the light doesn't go out just time it with watch 3x 10minutes. The light should go out on the fourth try. Please check that the battery is fully charge or that it doesn't go below 11.4 volts.

i using a booster all the time with gm brand too much electronic in dash when key is on

Maybe disconnect battery positive cable and touch to ground after programming?

i try the process again no success after the 4 th time to have light go off
i grab another B111-PT and the mechanical key tape them head to head
Went to the car turn ignition on with the New key security light went off car start Miracle yes (4 hours on this baby)
i not sure if i before turning this key i did used the first one so the key got automatically added to the system
new key make security light go off car start
first key make security light blink/flash intermittent car won t start
i think that using sbb lock the chip or something
i did program b111pt ilco original with SBB but it s second time system fail had to cut new keys
i think for now one only 30 minute cycling won t play with sbb and gm can
what about remote any feed back on remote programming using sbb

i wanna get a tool to read transponder chip so i can know if chip is correct or not can Gambit/hitag china do the job so i can start learning hexadecimal bit language

I read it somewhere that if you remove positive battery cable and touch it to ground side after 3x10 procedure, the car will finish the programming cycle, I never had to try this yet.

i try the 30 min procedure again no success
i even push to a 4th time security light won t go off
then i took new b111pt tape head to head it to mechanichal key
turn ignition on security light went off car start miracle
i think the sbb lock the first key or key not good
because now when u put the first on security light flashing

so maybe first on was programmed but defect and the other one program in one turn of key to the one position
well i did not try to program again old key was there 4 hours playing with this baby

Some new gm have a 3x2minutes but most are 3x10minutes.
I have come across some that need to go to the run position and then release the key to "on" for 10minutes. Other just need to go to the "on" position for 10minutes. The part about the ground wire at the end came form Stevie from keypro info. Just to clear your mind Automan.

Z keys with circle plus are not reuse able maybe chip was lock. The point is you got it done that all that counts next one will be easier.

I use cheap zedbull mini with software, it helps me check and test keys. Not intense details but very helpful, $120 with free dhl shipping, cheap piece of test equipment.
