Can anyone explain why the numbers are showing above the Channel name in the top right hand corner. I randomly picked out this photo on Facebuck, apparently its happened to a few Sly customers.

I'm sure Sky are doing to catch out people using domestic installs in pubs, or possibly to identify sources for online streams

It's just the card number but as mentioned, it's a check to see if pubs are using domestic subs or not.
The pint glass does not appear on the HD channel , only the SD ones ,but with more pubs using HD, then putting the card number on screen is another way to idenifty commercial or domestic sub.
Been happening with Sky Italy boxes for years now.

So nothing to worry about for the Kard Bearers out there?

Contrary to that the numbers were seen in home subscriptions, not the pub or commercial properties?

Yes, that's so if that "domestic" card has found it's way to a public house, then that's the give away for a pub using it.
It doesn't matter if it's at home as it's in the correct place as per the T & C's etc.
