eurovox remote help

Hi all I have flashed a friends eurovox red 1st problem i never deleted old software so I lost cdf file. the box downloaded software ok but now remote does not work at all ,I know its not the remote as it works on another box
now im not sure if it is a clone box as I had it off ebay any help would
be appriciated . cheers marcus

u normally only get this if u have flashed it with the wrong software m8 , was sure it was red ? r u sure its a max and not just a eurovox 2 ?

cheers for coming back I own one of the old eurovoxs ,this one says
eurovox max on front and I remember it coming with red on the box
what software would you reccommend I use cheers marcus.

u havent a picture of the remote have u and the box . l know years ago some where being sold with old filmware and old remotes , the start of the clones .. if u cant post a picture have a look on the web and link the picture

just been looking around for a pic it is defo a red 2007 it has 8 slots the remote is silver with the red blue green yellow going vertical on right hand side. cheers marcus

if your sure then m8 the installer for them will only install to the right box it cant do it wrong ..

cheers for your help getting there now all software on box updated got all
channels can only change channel via box green light on in middle on lock
just need to know how to unlock cheers marcus.

the lock light means its found a cable signal not that the remote is locked .. l take it this was fine before u updated it ?

The remote was fine I know someone else with a red box so I will see them tomorrow
and swap remotes see if that works once again cheers for your help

What does flashing it mean
I have a Eurovoc max and my lock light has come on on the front of the box hubby working away until the weekend and dont know what to do
