Lol, Not ready for the bin yet mate,
If you look at the red stickie threads on top of the openbox threads i'm sure there's f/w in those, if not there's plenty on normal threads, if it is a new box check the f/w that is already on it.. if it is old f/w (2010) this could be the problem.. But before running new f/w i would check the clone guide and follow the instructions on how to check it..
ALLWAYS back up your original f/w 1st, incase you have any problems and need to revert

Load the batch file first when you use eeprom tool.

pop the lid or put a fan on it.
sounds like a heat problem.

Load the batch file first when you use eeprom tool.
that was for the x3/f3/m3 loader and has nothing to do with the s9/s10

Im sure I suggested Power Board fault to you in your other thread, I think you should give up trying to flash and accept that you have a faulty box...

Same thing has happened on my box. When I switch the power on it just goes to 'ON' and stays there and doesn't seem to try to boot.
When I try to reflash using erom upgrade it just hangs. It doesn't even tell me 'Set stb memory error'. I've tried a lot of different timing in case that was the problem but no luck.
It sounds like the box might be done for but i'm not giving up just yet. Anyone have a proven workaround for getting an S9 with this problem back up & running?

Hi there. I have a similar problem to those listed above. My s9 box seemed to give up on me yesterday. All cables are connected and seem to be working ok got a high signal quality and intensity but the only message that appears is scrambled. Can get my usual channels to work such as BBC 1 etc but not any of the others. I am very new to this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
