Hi, i have a viper here, can read miles perfect via obd, when writing machine says "done" and dash resets but mileage doesnt change

iv tried 3 different tools, all do the same.

any idea what i could do??

iv tried disconnecting battery.

is there any way this could be done manually?

open dash

if its a 9s12 micro or eeprom read it with upa

then drive car a few miles then re read

u will see mileage line incriment

then its case of working out algo ;)

unfortunaly customer is not patient and the strip out is massive

id rather know and jus get it done
