i have had a rear projection a plasma and an lcd in the past. all hd. the rear projection thomson set was by far the best hd picture i have had.
theres a lot of scare stories about plasma. but i and a lot of others i have spoke to have had no probs.
that projector is my next project after i move.

You can't go wrong with a Panasonic, although you will have to buy a smaller size screen.

Panasonis is my own personal choice, they make the LCD up to 37" in size and anything over that is going to be a plasma, picture quality is excellent.
