I have 2 cables. The first cable is not very good, when it doesn't work and the car won't start, I use the other cable which is very good. It fastens to the front of the car and to the back of a tow truck which takes the car to the main dealer for repair. This cable has never let me down and works 100%. I recommend buying one of these cables as it seems to work with any car. Arthur.

Pakli;if you want to read the eeproms by obd2 going to have to spend considerable money, I guess you got a true Original UPA?
What is your niche?
where are you?
what is the car they want to work?.
your question made ***8203;***8203;reference to this?

Ah, I understand this a bit better now thanks to Malc and Captain Crackers.

Its cable 8203 to use first, then Cpt Crackers special cable after.
correct?

Just an idea......If, when using Cpt Crackers other [special ] cable, you are slow on the brakes, the ensuing impact may remove the instrument cluster, thus enabling access to the eeprom.......................

As Tulgeywoodman says my cable is better. It does not use a hook Just a large dollop of epoxy and attatch it to the rear of the tow truck. Wait 10 minutes (fast setting epoxy naturally) and away you go. Arthur.
