Hi Mathura,

Calibration file for your ESN is in Incal. Do you have Incal?

Attached is old Service Parts Topic 95T6-6 regarding Idle rpm creep. Although this topic covers Celect & Celect Plus injectors, design of ISM injectors are very similar. Spill port erosion inside the injectors is the most common cause of idle creep. We have seen this many times.

I also believe that recalibrating the ECM will not fix the problem.

UPDATE:

You were quite correct Poptest. The injectors were indeed the probelm, changed all six and engine now works great, idle speed now 650rpm.

The ECM code for this engine is not available when trying to download from quickserve. When you view the data sheet for calibration updates on the engine serial#, it also shows a different ECM calibration then you posted that you can't download without the correct ECM code? The engine serial # and ECM code have to match or you get an error message. A02028.XX is the cal the engine calls for. It looks as though this ECM is from a Marine application and won't be usable on a highway vehicle?
Almost every calibration update for this engine serial# is for "Idle surge fix" I'm sure the injector change out was all you needed. Poptest knows his engines from the posts he's made.

When I connect to ECM I cannot read any parameters because it is inital footprint so it need recalibration.

When I tried to calibrate with the file that was given here I am getting this message.

"There are no replacement calibration available for the superseeded calibration that was selected. Please select another drive or contact the local distributor"

Yes, you need login and password provided by Cummins. :afraid:

Try to copy your data file in this folder.

Put your file "data" in the folder : "intelect" => "esdn". (download my attachment)
Then, copy/paste "intelect" folder in "Calibrationworkspace folder"

PS: Esdn.Dat file is only there for the expiration date but it is essential. (you can open it with notepad)

try SAE 1939 Mutiplexing disable or enable. or take work orders of the ecm that works
right click on it and make a template and then send to ecm. hope this helps.

Try this..........enable "Vehicle Speed Sensor Anti Tampering". Your present setting is "disabled".

To copy parameters from one ECM to the other, right click your work order/job image and select save as template.
you can then send the template to any compatible ECM. This will overwrite all the features and parameters, so speed settings, cruise control, etc. may be altered.

Make sure you save a work order of the original ECM so that you can go back.

A better option is to expand and print both feature and parameter pages and look down them side by side
