Driver issue

Ive just upgraded my old laptop i use for photo editing from vista to win 7. The printer i use is a epson r1800 which has worked flawless on vista. After setting up win 7 and installing all programs ive just went to get the drivers for the printer from epson and discovered they havent got a driver for win 7. What i was wondering is there anyway to mod the vista driver to work on win7 or is the printer now useless.
