dreambox live/Vu+player app for iphone 3gs

Hi all
i have set up dreambox live/Vu+player so i can access it from outside my home network, i can see my bouquets and can access my harddrive to watch recorded stuff, but the problem is that i cant watch tv it comes up as 'contention failed Maybe all tuners are occupied'

i have checked to see if anything is recording and it is not so am a bit lost. i have checked the recommend settings dreambox live website give for on FAQ asked but notting is working. the app is working on my home network wifi so i can watch tv. i have permanent time shift function addon enabled would his matter as it would be using harddrive

i don't think dreambox live allows it, but there are other similar apps that do allow for external streaming. i remeber getting some success with either istreamgate or maybe even the vu+ official app.

having said that, you do need a really good upload speed and a download speed which is really fast too to compensate at the other end.

i found some placeshifting devices like vulkano flow or slingbox is much more efficient and can even be used on 3g for hone or ipad without any hassle.
