What do you mean?
I have done that, as soon as I turn the box on the 'Synchronizing STBs' say its done in a matter of seconds.
I tried turning the box on at different times after and before hitting the next button.
Sorry i have a s11 not s10.

Hi
Are you using a dedicated com port. Also if you try with last known firmware that was on the box.
Sometimes its a matter of perseverance.
There is a thread on here that goes into it in more detail.

Yup its a null modem cable. its detecting the box i know, because as soon as it turns on the program synchronizes however set stb memory error.
how do i set up the program the stb erom upgrade 2.0.0c is set up like this:
Port: COM1
Parity: Even
Bit Rate: 115200
I went to the device manager and matched those settings.

Been trying all this time and no luck at all! Shall I just give up?
Any other better loaders?

stb memory error is either wrong version loader or turning the receiver on too fast.

choose the 5-5.abs and tick include bootloader.

Just tried and same error. What do you mean that its too fast?
When shall i turn it on then? its a s11 not s10, so does that matter?

you start the loader and hit next, then turn the receiver on with the switch in the back at a casual rate. The loader actually gives you minutes to turn the receiver on.I once had the rs232 cable disconnected and I started the loader then had to connect the cable and turn the receiver on and it still worked. If the receiver is already on when you start the loader you get the stb memory error even on a working receiver. The files I posted always worked for me,I used to kill my s10 daily and recover. If nothing works you must have a mainboard problem, like red led on all the time.
