I have here a Seat Leon 2008 with half-dead cluster. All analog pointers are dead, while all the rest works ok (also tested with output tests with vas and vcds).

Cluster is
1P0 920 827

I heard that this cluster is not cryped, so i can just swap eeprom to the new dash, is this true?

changing the eeprom should work ok. have u had a look if there is any rust on the internal plug???

it it is not internal cluster fault pointers should move in output tests, right?

also two pointer motors looks like they are burned (black smoke traces on white plastic), but resistances are ok on all four (approx. 145ohm)

Yes they always loook like burned it is normal, have a look on the processor soldering, some seat has bad soldering points.
