Box - Ferrari Vu Duo
Image - Vix 2.4.96
CCcam 2.2

ok so basically i had my box working for around a week but had some problems with the hdd causing the tuner to fail when a recording started, so anyhow i have re flashed box and am at the point of ftp CCcam.cfg file to /etc but its not working!

I got a cfg file template which i have added my line to in notepad and its transferring over as a cfg file but only my fta channels are showing...

keep getting the error -

SoftcamCheck
Error:[Failure instance: Traceback: ,type
'exceptions.IOError'>:[Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'/etc/CCcam.cfg'

theres loads more but hopefully someone can diagnose off that.

in filezilla everything transfers over ok but doesnt work, the file is still being transferred in notepad but is not showing as a .txt file it is showing as .cfg in properties.

i think it must be somehow the way the file is formatted because i think last time the cfg file symbol was a blank page but now the symbol is notepad but tbh i just dont know.

been at it for hours trying to remember what i did last time, tried everything i can think of!

Please Help!!!

use dreambox control center
with telnet

start dcc
telnet
paste these in one at a time press enter after each paste

touch /etc/CCcam.cfg

chmod 644 /etc/CCcam.cfg

or use putty if you want to do it remotely
