Hi, as the title says, is there anything i need to do before i install a new black hole image over my current one? am i right in saying i can just go ahead and flash it without deleting the current image already on the system?

the reason im updating is tuner A isnt getting a signal, it was working fine last week but its just decided to stop working, it seems to be getting 5% signal and thats it, i read updating the image can trigger it to start working. its not a clone, its only 2-3 months old. the system was working flawless until last week.

i appreciate the help. thanks

is it a genuine vu+ or a clone .. you say its not but they are hard to tell

make sure the image is clone safe ..

have you tried to reconfigure the tuner before you flash

yes put image on usb stick and flash away over image

Hi, thanks for the reply, yes its a genuine box bought from a genuine seller. ive tried reconfiguring it many times and re tuning but its failed to materialize. so im good to just flash a new image over the top of my current image without doing anything prior etc?

thanks again
