Hello,
I have this troublesome car
W210 E320 CDI
Bosch ECU
A 025 545 56 32
0 281 010 068
The car performs Extreamly well! It has a VGT turbocharger, and there is no take off port on the manifold to measure the boost pressure, however it appears to be overboosting, as the car pulls very hard to the redline then looses all power and EPC light comes on...
It logs a Rail pressure P1187-001 and an airflow meter plausibility1 (due to overboosting)
I cannot find a mechanical problem with this car, i have swapped many parts (turbocharger control valve, AFM, etc etc) and the fault remains.
I was wondering if the ecu has been reflashed to give more boost...
How can i tell??
Any assistance would be appreciated...
