Hi all
I have been trying to burn xbox games on to disk but for some reason when i try to playthem it comes up on the screen saying it needs updating before game can be played.
the copy games that came with the xbox works fine :-)
does anyone know off anyone that sells the xbox 360 backup games,
i used to use disqworld forum may years ago but it does not look like its online anymore

just a update the xbox says there is a game in it but everytime i try and play the ones i have burnt it says
an update must be applied to your console to play this game,if you decline this update you wont be able to play the game

If you have no interest in live or RGH then just download latest dash and update. Depending on your drive, it might need updating to LT3.0

Thanks for your reply , am all new to this is there anyway I know what drive it has without opening the Xbox up and also where can I download it from please

If you go here you can choose to download the latest update either for CD or USB. I find USB is easier, just extract the files onto a USB stick then plug it into your xbox to perform the update.
From what you have said, I reccon this will solve the problem.
