In a large stock pot on stove
Fry onion until soft
Add meat and brown
Add stock, hard vegatables and all spices
Simmer until meat is cooked and veg is how you like
it, about 20 mins would be correct
If using soft veg like cauliflower add it about 5 mins
before the end.
Serve on rice
