Dash swap problem - VW Passat 1.9 AHU

Hi

Patient: VW Passat 1.9 TDI 2000 AHU 90KM

Car with broken dash:
3B0 920 920 A B5-KOMBIINSTR VDO V25

After 3 broken dashes found working one:
3B0 920 907 KOMBI + Wegfahrsp VDO V06
(Donor: VW Passat 2002 1.6 petrol)

Dash works but glow plug led doesn't work :(
RPM are not correct as well.

I'm looking for working dump to new dash from diesel engine.

If necessary i have dumps from both dashes.

Just wondering, don't you have to get it coded first?

Simple kkl and vag eeprom programmer 1.19 read code from both and after reprog with vcds.Both thing here on forum.

How u gonna get a petrol dash to work in a diesel properly?? For starters the glow plug light won't work because petrol doesn't have glow plugs
Secondly the Rev counter is different because patrols redline at a higher rev range be easier to adapt a diesel dashboard

As mention above you can not put gasser cluster and be plug and play. Plus you have 1/2 MFA and you trying to put regular cluster.Does not make any sense to me.
If you OK not have MFA ,Post dump form both clusters and I will make it work.You will need to swap RPM scale form TDI cluster as well.

Just to let you know any 3B0 920 92X Diesel cluster will work in that car.

From my original cluster somebody cut 5 LED's.

Bought 2 cluster from diesel, and both were damaged :(

Finally I got dash from petrol and that one works.

LED from glow plug is physically on right place but software can't us it, cos dash is from petrol.

PS> I code new dash, but glow plug id still death.

In att dumps from old and new dash.

I dont need MFA, I just need all working LED's for MOT...

OK, I fixed RPM and add glow plug in software.You need to put Rpm face form old dash in new dash .
Also check on the back of the new dash is there resistor of 180omh.
I attach picture along with file.
One thing ,
is your original dash black face and new one silver face?
I ask you this because if you transfer speedo face form original dash to new the temp and fuel gauge will not work correct.I can fix this also.
The best thing is post picture of old and new dash and I will know how to fix this.
Also your original dash is regular ( No MFA) . You wrote wrong part number.
This is old dash part number 3B0 920 902A.
