Anyone tried to repair the BMW E46 ABS ecu's before? The chip in picture has taken a blow. This is the ABS pump with built in ecu off a 2002 BMW E46 and car is in default mode due to ecu being dead. Is it possible to get these chips or anyone else got any info on it? :2in1: thanks alot

Anyone know how to change the VIN in a secondhand ABS ECU on these e46 BMW's? The EEPROM doesnt appear to be storing it unless its crypted and fooling me? Has anyone recoded a used ABS ECU before and how did you do it? Any help please? :tee:

I have not worked on the Teves ABS module.

You should be able to code it to the car with NCSexpert though

I changed one of these last year but only had to recode and make steering angle inicialization not vin, did it with Bosh KTS, but others scanners can do.
