M3.83 only solder

on some a3 pin43 is not connected to obd that's why you get only ecu number ... connect pin 43 to 12v and try again

mpps only ID and write on these ecu's and works flawless

This ecu can have flash memory or eprom plcc44.

If you have plcc44 27c1024 you can read/write only with external programmer.

MPPS can do write as motronic 5xx

Exactly like OEM said there is 27c1024 in big plcc44 socket.

MPPS cannot do this ecu! becouse it's reading only.

I know but i get this with mpps ecu id 06A906018CJ and i found an original dump for this: Audi A3 1.8T 0261206516 06A906018CJ chk 1221.rar and the alientech site say AUDI A3 1800 20V TURBO 150CV BOSCH M3.83 516-8.158 29F200 PSOP...
i think in year 2000 must be psop eprom not plcc.
if i get this ecu id with mpps but no read, can i write this moded file?

06A906018CJ = READ via DESOLDER and EPROMreader, WRITE via OBD2-port IF wire ecu-pin 43 to OBD2port 13 is installed. ONLY then you can write IN the car via OBD. It's 3 minutes writingtime. BRIDGE pin 16 with pin 13 on OBD2-port ONLY FOR WRITING and you will succeed.
