RE: subaru select monitor III codes.
How to go about getting the "teaching code for immobilizer"?
It's asking for:
"Input teaching operation code, press OK"
Found this info. Does anyone know if connection with car needs to be present for them to be accepted or are they version dependent? Because it doesn't work without connection to car.

A Teaching Operation Code may be needed when using the SSMIII. The following are the
