Hi there got an old apple mac powerbookg4 from a mate who was going to bin it , being myself i thought it could be fixed so i took on the mammoth task it seems all to get a start up and reboot disc but i cannot seem to find one anywhere ??

Any ideas where i could get one and what codes i would need to ensure the correct disc ??

g4? white? u need something like snow lion etc

I still have a PowerBook G4 and it works but compared to recent Macs it is very slow.
If by code you mean operating system, it is few years that Apple is not supporting G4. You can forget about Lion and Mountain Lion. You need to go back to a system that still emulates power PC to get full advantage of it. Your system does not need to be the latest. You can even try Tiger and Panther before moving up.
The latest operating system for PowerBook G4 that I have installed is Mac OS X 10.5.8.
