Thanks for that but the BSI file you have is 70% different to my original - 0x1400 onwards all 0xFF in your file - is that correct?

I think it's a Motabilty car - 6 months old. I think he's missed a service, er, well, all of 'em at a guess.

Mileage still goes back to 36797 with your files drahtman. It must be stored somewhere else ???

Thanks for that, I'll try it shortly. One question though, I thought that the BSI had to have the exact mileage that is in the dash. Your dump has the BSI zero'd. Is that correct?

Just tried the dumps from ivoo. Mileage on display is now 00000. Took car out for short drive and it counts up ok. Read chip from dash with 1 mile on display and dash dump is the same as it was when I programmed it. BSI dump has incremented. If anyone wants a copy of all the files I have tried with the results I can post 'em.

It is now well counter or still have 0 miles. Did you have disconnected the battery before dismantling BSI? if not then disconnect and reconnect the battery. If is still not well I can recalculate the BSI to proper values.

Thanks to everyone for trying. Outstanding dave11674, worked like a charm. Its now in and all looks ok - should I have also deleted the stuff from 0x1400 onwards? Like I said - its in and working - just wondered.

You delete it, otherwise you can read with Diagbox or PP full history from BSI with stored DTC and km.

With BSI cleared and dash = 5500 the clocks showed 00000 but when driving they counted up as you would expect - 00000, 00001, 00002 etc. - ask me one on sport, its not what I'd have expected either.
