hi i have just bought a dreambox scanned but no encrypted channels do i have to flash the box can anyone give me the steps thanks

dependant on what image is on you may need to reflash it, then ftp over keys/roms

have a read in the forum all info is there on how to do it m8

have you read this?> http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f34/guide-flashing-dreambox-dreamup-33/ to honest if the box has an image on it and your getting fta channels the old addage is if it aint broke dont fix ,you may just need the proper files m8

Everything you need is in the RED stickies. Alternatively you could try Devilfishes suggestion;

Delete the contents of the /var/keys and /var/scce folder on your box.

Copy the contents of the keys folder in the rar to /var/keys and the same with the scce folder to /var/scce.

If you are using a DW image then all the files go in /var/keys. If you click on /var/scce it should automatically take you to /var/keys anyway.


Go to sky sports 1, press MENU > SHUTDOWN > reboot now

When it reboots, flick to sky sports 2, wait 5 secs, the flick back to sky sports 1. Wait until the channel comes on.
