good day members.


customer has lost all keys for his lexus is200 2001. can someone please advised me where keys are stored. i found a small immo box with 16 pin chip. i am nopt sure if this is correct or not. can someone please help me.

Hello! I had the same problem,my keys were stolen.The easy solution is to reprogram chip in Engine ECU with virgin file.You have to reprogram 93c56 chip.

It's under the hood on the driver's side.

In IS200/300 there is TEXAS 4C ( JMA TP07 - TPX1 ) transponder.But if you reprogram ecu with virgin file ,easy thing is to find used keys for toyota with the same transponder series and car will adapt to them.

I've got keys from RAV4 1996-2004.


P.S. It worked for me but if any toyota geek has diffrent opinion please say.
