Hi all, my inlet vanos should be 120 deg (std) & is now set @100 deg, any idea how to set it,what equipment is needed to set it electronically.Thanx.

This problem can not be corrected electronically. If it is a v8 N62 motor you are working on then I can tell you from experience that this problem only happens when the can=mshafts are not locked in the correct position while doing valve timing. Inlet cams must be locked in fully advanced position and exhaust cams in fully retarded position during setting up. Did you do head work on the vehicle or new timing chain etc?
